Students at AELS and AES took part in a safety drawing contest hosted by Morgan Engineering. Six students from each school had their drawings selected to be in the 2023 Morgan Engineering safety calendar. Each school also received a generous donation. For a class project, senior Gracie Weaver wrote a song based on her reading of "Apostrophe To Sarah Pierrepont" by Jonathan Edwards, a selection in the Norton Anthology of American Literature. This project was done for her dual-credit American Literature class, which is offered through Stark State here at AHS.
While the song is "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane, she wrote the lyrics herself!
