1. She is very good at making mashed potatoes.
2. She doesn't have a favorite color; her favorite color changes daily and depends on her mood!
3. In her lifetime, she has lived with a guinea pig, house rabbit, three cats and two dogs.
4. She likes to jump on trampolines.
5. Her daughters showed her how to use Kahoot! and Blooket, and now her college students love playing them just as much as her daughters do!

The 8th grade students visited the AHS Career & Tech programs last week! They had the chance to tour each programs and see the opportunities available to them when they reach high school.
Almost all of the CTE programs at AHS have an intro course for students to take their freshmen or sophomore years to help them find a program they are interested in and passionate about. The 8th graders will have a chance to sign up for the intro courses when they schedule for their freshmen year! #RepthatA




The Board of Education has changed the times of the Regular Board Meetings beginning with the meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The meetings will now take place at 5 pm instead 6 pm. #RepthatA


Suzie Dennis is the vice president of the Alliance Board of Education!
Here are 5 fun facts about Mrs. Dennis:
1. She loves to cook and bake anything Italian! She uses the recipes handed down from her grandmothers.
2. She enjoys gardening and any type of yard work in the Summer.
3. Her hobbies include reading, going for walks, going on motorcycle rides, dancing and golfing (even though she's not the best, just being outside makes it all worth it!)
4. She currently has five bird feeders in her yard! She enjoys watching the different types of birds that feed in her yard. She occasionally has an opossum or skunk that visits, too.
5. Her family means the world to her! She treasures the moments with her siblings, husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A team of AHS staff and football players, recently went to the Elks with an ACS bus and loaded over 100 baskets of food onto the bus to be handed out to local families! What a great way to being caring citizens! #RepthatA





A new resource was recently rolled out for all of Stark County. StarkHelpCentral.com is a one stop website for all kinds of resources including homeless services, food, car repairs, clothing, mental health, LGBTQ+, medical care and crisis numbers.
This all encompassing website allows users to look up resources available in Alliance and all throughout Stark County. You can search for resources based on "stage of life" or by using the search bar.

Tyler Kinser is the president of the Alliance Board of Education!
Here are 5 fun facts about Mr. Kinser:
1. He is the husband to Jenni-Jo Kinser and the father to Will and Zach.
2. He is a member of Carnation City Players. He's an actor, treasurer and past president.
3. In 1992, he won the District Bagging Content, of the Ohio Grocers Association Bagging Contest, and went on to the state competition.
4. He enjoys camping and kayaking with Jenni-Jo.
5. When he grows up, he wants to be either a teacher, a news anchor or a funeral director.

Alliance Middle School student, Nevaeh Harris, was recently surprised by Lionel Grimes, the 2022 Pathfinder recipient, and his daughter with a special gift! In the spring, Nevaeh created a portrait of Mr. Grimes that was displayed at the AMS Pathfinder assembly. Mr. Grimes saw the beautiful art work and asked to purchase it and meet the artist.
The Grimes family is encouraging Nevaeh to continue with her passion and bought her supplies to help her continue making art. #RepthatA
