For each students selected author, they had to write a 250 word pitch that argues why he or she has a claim to be this year's champion. It may have been windy, but it was still a great day for a ribbon cutting! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! Tre'Sean Williams and Alex Hinojosa were two of the construction trades students hired by SCG Fields to help with the field updates. They had a hand in helping to bring the amazing turf field to life!
