
The ACS Fine Arts Showcase kicks off on Monday with the Visual Art Show Reception!
The Art Show will open each night there is a performing arts event from 6-8 pm. The Art Show will not be open during school hours or on Friday, May 12 and Sunday, May 14. #RepthatA


Gracie Weaver is heading to the University of Mount Union after graduation as an Investment Alliance Scholar! She plans to major in Spanish.
During her time at AHS, she was part of Student Senate, National Honor Society, a Class Officer, Class Council, Varsity Soccer, Marching Band, Concert Band, Pep Band, Jetsetter Band, Jazz Band, Solo & Ensemble, Choralaires, Academic Challenge, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the spring musicals.

AIS students enjoyed the nice weather last week during their Fun Day, Field Day Incentive! They enjoyed popsicles, relay races, tug-of-war and more throughout the day! #RepthatA





Amber Patti, a school counselor at AHS, was invited to The Spring Educator Visit at The United States Military Academy at West Point! During her visit, she learned about the application process, facilities, and programs available on campus, all while getting a first-hand look at cadet life. #RepthatA


The Juniors and Seniors had a great time at Prom on Saturday! The enjoyed dancing the night away and celebrating with their friends.

Alexander Hinojosa has a full-time job lined up with SCG Fields following graduation! He started working with the company in December as one of the Construction Trade Career Tech students hired to help with the ACS athletic updates, including the AHS Baseball and Softball fields.
Along with being a part of the Construction Trades class, he played Baseball at AHS.

The AES Girls on the Run participants have been training for a 5k! Last week at practice, they invited their teachers, families and even some of the AHS long distance runners to join them as they ran 11 laps around AES (the equivalent of a 5k).
We are so proud of these girls and all their hard work during the Girls on the Run program! We know they are going to crush the 5k in just a few weeks! #RepthatA

- The AHS Track meet scheduled for tomorrow has been moved to May 8 at Marlington

During her time at AHS, she took part in Orchestra, Concert Band, Marching Band, Key Club, National Honor Society, Stark County Youth Leadership, Tennis and the Premedical Professions Career Tech Program.

Tabitha Poindexter will be attending Cedarville University where she will purse a degree in Political Science!

It's time to start recognizing 23 soon-to-be graduates from the Class of 2023! First up is La'Kasja Edwards!
La'Kasja will be attending the University of Akron following graduation where she will run track and pursue an undecided major.
During her time at AHS, she was on the girls soccer team, track and field team, in the sports medicine CTE program and coached the exceptional olympics.

47 AES staff members completed a 5-week Step Challenge. Steps were averaged among the teams and the team with the highest overall average won. Gary Schwartz won "Most Valuable Walker" with over a million steps in the five weeks!
