AES Summer School (grades 2-5) celebrated reading last week with Tacky Tourists, Villains or Heroes, A First Annual Vocabulary Fashion Show, Not Nerdy to Read, and finished Friday dressing as their favorite character in Literature and Snow Cones were earned by all 185 students for having 1 or less unexcused absences in the first half of summer school!

The Aviator Sports Boosters are hosting a Garage Sale on July 22 with all proceeds benefiting Aviator Athletics! Donations can be dropped off on Mondays from 6-7 pm starting on June 26. Clothing donations are not being accepted. #RepthatA
All Summer Meal Program sites will be closed on Monday, June 19 in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. The sites will reopen on Tuesday, June 20. #RepthatA
Valerie Salter, a climate specialist at AHS, and her son TJ, a freshmen, visited Virginia Beach where they enjoyed staying at the beach with friends! Valerie's favorite part of the vacation were the sunsets and TJ had fun spending time with his friends and swimming.
