Adam from the Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center visited the kindergarten children at AELS this morning. He shared information about how to tell which animals are insects. We learned that insects have 3 body parts, 6 legs, antenna, many can fly, some are easy to see, others are camouflaged making it difficult for them to be seen. At the end of the program, we were given an opportunity to touch a living insect, a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach!

High School student Cole George was named Mac Trailer's Commerce Street Plant's Employee of the Month this month! Cole was commended for his eagerness, cooperation, work ethic, and willingness to do whatever is asked of him. What an accomplishment for one of our high school students to be selected as an outstanding employee at a major manufacturing company! Great job, Cole! #Acspresents #RepthatA

It can be difficult to stay on top of screening your child's technology. Here is a link to a website that gives some basic info on all the newest, latest and greatest apps your child might download so that you can better determine if it's worth keeping or deleting: https://www.commonsensemedia.org/app-reviews

Northside students enjoyed a great time at the North Canton Skate Park for the March Incentive. They rode bumper cars, climbed the rock wall, skated, played laser tag, and visited the arcade. We are proud of the students who worked hard to earn this trip. Our April incentive will be a picnic and fun-filled day at Butler Rodman park.

Middle School students who earned good behavior through the third nine weeks were rewarded with "Activity Day" today. Teachers hosted an activity of their choice, anything from a movie to board games, to baton twirling, dodge ball, or hair styling. Students and staff bonded over fun activities and it was a great way to kick off spring break! #Acspresents
