Alliance High School hosted a “signing” day to recognize five senior athletes who have committed to play a sport in college.
\r\nThe five athletes to sign were Cameron Cox, Gavin Geier, Lauren Snyder, Noah Durst-Hawkins and Jarren Daniels. The first three athletes will be attending the University of Mount Union and the remaining two will be attending Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania.
Cameron Cox will be attending Mount Union to play football and to pursue degrees in criminal justice and physical education. He is the son of Ronald and Tammy Cox.
Jarren Daniels will be attending Thiel College to play football and to major in secondary education-history. He is the son of Leda and Edward Daniels.
Noah Durst-Hawkins will be attending Thiel College to play football and to pursue a degree in psychology. He is the son of Lisa Durst.
Gavin Geier will be attending Mount Union to play football and to pursue an undecided major. He is the son of April Wilkin and Randy Brienza and Jacen Geier and Tabitha Geier.
Lauren Snyder will be attending Mount Union to cheer and to pursue a degree in exercise science. She is the daughter of Diana and Mike Bondoni and the late John Snyder.
