Alliance Elementary School students invited Veterans to take part in their annual Veterans Day assembly today! The students sang patriotic songs, read letters they wrote and celebrated all the Veterans in attendance. Great job, AES! #RepthatA

ACS held the first ever Futures Fest! The night consisted of a college and career fair with close to 80 vendors, a career fashion show and fun career exploration activities for our young Aviators.

Alliance Elementary School held a glow-in-the-dark dance party last week! The students who met the PBIS goals for the first quarter were able to take part in the incentive. The students had a blast dancing with their friends and listening to some of their favorite songs. #RepthatA

Students in Addie Bender, Trisha Bartel, and Diana Fails' 2nd grade classes at AES participated in Apple Day! Clinical practitioner from YSU, Delaney Willoughby, who is completing her student teaching in these classes planned a cross curricular day all about apples. It was a very fun day of learning! The students completed apple lessons in reading, writing, science, social studies, music, art, and math! They ended the day with a special apple snack. #RepthatA

Recently, a firefighter from our local fire department visited and read to Chelsea Young’s class as part of the Men Making a Difference reading program. Men from the Alliance community visit AES classrooms once a month to read to the students and answer their questions. We love having this program available to our 2nd and 3rd grade Aviators! #RepthatA
