Stop by Rodman Public Library through May 17 to see some of our talented Kindergartners' artwork based off the book "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!" by Mo Willems! Before reading, the classes talked about what authors and illustrators do. Madison Bialota, the art teacher at Alliance Early Learning School, explained how Mo Willems is both. Throughout some of the book, the students figured out what the pigeon might be thinking just from looking at the illustrations that didn't have words to go along with them. Afterwards, they created a watercolor drawing and added neon paint for the backgrounds! Great job, AELS! #RepthatA
